What makes us different? We have a long track record of executing win-win deals for sophisticated Buyers and first-time provider Sellers. Having spent most of our careers representing the Buyers, we understand all too well how first-time Sellers too often come to the negotiating table without their best cards in hand. So we are flipping the script, and turning our attention to the Seller community to ensure that you get what you deserve for the practice you have worked so hard to build. Finding the right strategic partner and optimizing a deal structure that best ensures your long-term value post deal is not your expertise, of course. You are too busy seeing clients and building the business. 

 

So here's some valuable buy-side perspective: we definitely see better deal outcomes when Sellers have strong, deal-savvy advisors. But this is oddly rare. Too often we see no advisors or "buddy advisors" who handle the Seller's day-to-day legal needs or financial planning advice but have no healthcare transaction experience, and are thus ill-equipped to efficiently and effectively represent the Seller's best "once in a lifetime" transaction interest. But the Sellers, who, ironically, are proud experts in their field, underestimate the importance of hiring true healthcare deal experts to level the playing field in Buyer negotiations.
